What it is

The HASP SRM Admin Control Center is a customizable, browser-based, end-user license management utility that enables centralized tracking of HASP SRM-licensed applications, and administration of multiple HASP License Managers and HASP SRM protection keys. The Admin Control Center provides a single console view of all the licenses and license servers within an organization, enabling a single system administrator to effectively manage and maintain licenses of applications protected and licensed with HASP SRM.

For the end-user

Using the Admin Control Center, administrators can view which licenses are in use and by whom, in real time, making it easy to determine and resolve license availability and compliance issues.

HASP SRM provides end-user IT and network administrators an efficient license management system that enables them to centrally monitor and manage the software and licenses they have purchased. For example, IT administrators can see in real-time, how many executions or seats are available and when licenses expire allowing them to truly understand how the organization is using HASP SRM-protected applications within their business. Usage reports enable IT departments to make purchasing decisions and proactively identify and deal with non-compliance issues. Diagnostic reports aid in troubleshooting problems.

End-user IT administrators comment that the Admin Control Center tool enables the most efficient use of their software licenses by making them available to users as and when they are needed—allowing them to get the most out of their available software licenses.

For the software vendor

The Admin Control Center is also a useful tool for the ISVs technical staff. How it works

The Admin Control Center was designed to provide your end-user's system administrator with the means to manage the use of your licensed software within their organization. Providing both flexibility and customizability, the Admin Control Center is a useful diagnostic and license management tool that can be integrated with your HASP SRM protected and licensed software for use by your end-users.

The Interface

The Admin Control Center interface enables IT administrators to manage, monitor and maintain HASP Keys, Features, Sessions, Access Logs, Statistics and Configuration from a single screen.

HASP Keys: enables the end-user IT staff to identify which HASP SRM protection keys are currently present on the network, including locally connected keys.

Features: enables administrators to view a list of Features licensed in each of the HASP SRM protection keys currently present on the network, including locally connected keys. In addition, they can view the conditions of the license, and the current activity related to each Feature.

Sessions: lists all client sessions on the local machine, and those remotely logged into HASP License Manager on the local machine—allowing the IT administrator to view session data and terminate sessions.

Access Log: enables you to view a history of log entries for the server on which HASP

Statistics: enables you to view a variety of data relating to the use of the server on which HASP License Manager is running.

Configuration: enables administrators to specify certain operating settings for the HASP SRM Admin Control Center running on the connected machine. They can set parameters relating to user access, access to remote HASP License Managers, and access from remote clients. In addition, they can customize log templates to specify the data they return.

Diagnostics: enables IT administrators to view system information related to the current HASP License Manager and to generate reports.
