Outlook Web Access (OWA) is the web-based version of Microsoft Outlook. OWA allows any client with a compatible browser to access the Microsoft Exchange Server, enabling users to read their emails, view their calendars, and more from computers with Internet access in remote locations such as Internet kiosks.
The eToken OTP Authentication1.0 for MS OWA is an authentication enhancement developed by Aladdin, enabling organizations to implement secure access to OWA with eToken OTP technology. eToken Windows Logon provides secure logon to the Windows platform, enabling organizations to implement token-based two-factor authentication to Windows. Depending on the organizational policies, eToken Windows Logon authenticates users either with a Smartcard Logon certificate or through a user name and password, securely stored on the eToken.
The TMS Windows Logon (GINA) Connector supports and provides easy deployment of user profiles for the eToken Windows Logon application. The TMS Windows Logon (GINA) Connector enables the initialization of eToken devices with a list of logon profiles (a logon profile contains a user name, a domain to which the user belongs, a domain password, and a set of options).

What is eToken Windows Logon (GINA)?
eToken Windows Logon provides secure logon to the Windows platform, enabling organizations to implement token-based two-factor authentication to Windows. eToken Windows Logon ensures strong network protection, combined with convenience and portability.
The eToken Windows Logon installation replaces the Microsoft Graphical Identification and Authentication (GINA) DLL, the password-based logon mechanism that comes standard with Windows. Depending on the organizational policies, eToken Windows Logon authenticates users either with a Smartcard Logon certificate or through a user name and password, securely stored on the eToken.

Supports both certificate-based (Smartcard Logon) and password-based authentication
- Support for logon using a Windows computer that is not in a domain
- Support for logon/unlock using the eToken without removing and re-inserting the eToken
- An ?Unblock eToken? feature that allows the administrator to unblock the eToken even when not on site
- Automatic launch of the Profile Creation Wizard when an eToken without a Windows logon profile is inserted
- Support for logon to Terminal Services using either an eToken Windows Logon profile or a Smartcard Logon certificate

eSafe5 Feature Release 2 (FR2)
eSafe FR2 is just around the corner and will be released during Q2/2006. Key features to name are:
URL Filtering
- LDAP/AD integration – allows directory synchronization for users and groups
- URL filtering profiles – ability to define different URL filter profiles for: Users/groups, Workstation hostname or IP and Subnets according to IP range or VLAN
- Flexible user identification – users can be identified using several methods
Anti-Spyware
- Spyware infected PC warning message – When a spyware infected PC is detected by AppliFilter, the next time it tries to surf the web, it will be redirected to a special customizable warning web page.
- Spyware Neutralizer ActiveX – Stand alone Spyware Neutralizer module that can be embedded into any web page (or downloaded manually) and launched by the user to disinfect spyware-infected PCs. This is useful for networks where users do not log in to a domain server (e.g. schools), or as a value-added service for xSPs.
VLAN Bridge Mode
Full VLAN tag support was added to the bridge installation mode.
eSafe Proactivity Meter
We have integrated a new proactivity meter on the eSafe home page. This represents the percentage of known malicious code eSafe protects against proactively. We intend to keep it very high – as it is now.
