New eToken Beta Releases Offer Increased Level of Support for Mac and Linux

Two recently released eToken Betas mean you can easily take advantage of eToken certificate-based solutions, offering your customers an even higher level of security for Mac and Linux environments. eToken Middleware for Linux provides support for secure token-based authentication and PKI solutions within the Linux environment; eToken Middleware for MAC provides unparalleled support for secure token-based authentication and PKI solutions within the MAC environment. The eToken Middleware for Linux includes the following new features:

• Supports the full suite of eToken devices including CardOS 4.20 based devices (eToken NG-OTP and eToken PRO 64K)
• Support for 2048 bit RSA keys
• Improved compatibility with MS-CAPI keys and certificates

The eToken Middleware for MAC includes the following new features:

• PKCS#11 support
• Supports the full suite of eToken devices including CardOS 4.20 based devices (eToken NG-OTP and eToken PRO 64K)
• Support for mail signing and SSL authentication in MAC with some PKCS#11 applications (e.g. Mozilla, Netscape, Firefox and Thunderbird)
• Simple and fast installation for end users
• Support for smart card reader with eToken smart card

eSafe Spyware Neutralizer Beta Released
The Spyware Neutralizer is a stand-alone add-on that is sold separately as a subscription service with a per-seat price. The Suggested End-User Price List for Spyware Neutralizer can be found on iAladdin.

The following sales/marketing material is available together with Spyware Neutralizer Beta release:

• Updated Spyware whitepaper to include Spyware Neutralizer

When fully released, customers/prospects will be able to download Spyware Neutralizer and run it in Evaluation mode for 30 days. In Evaluation mode, Spyware Neutralizer will scan (not neutralize) machines on a local area network and report infections.


Long Awaited eSafe Advanced Reporter Released
The highly anticipated eSafe Advanced Reporter was recently released for Managed Availability. The Reporter is a stand alone add-on, compatible with all eSafe products and is sold for a flat fee of 2,000 (Euro or US$).

The eSafe Reporter includes two modules: The Import Agent - a module installed on an administrator's Windows workstation. It runs on a scheduled basis and imports the session.log files from all designated eSafe machines, exporting this information to an SQL database; and the Reports Viewer - a module which can be installed on any Windows machine on the network that has access to the SQL database. The Reports Viewer module allows generation of 20+ predefined statistical reports from the data exported into the SQL database by the Import Agent.

eToken WSO 1.3 - Get It Now
The new version of eToken Web Sign-On has been designed to enhance performance and usability, providing a more professional and comprehensive product for our customers.
WSO 1.3 includes the following:

• Support for eToken PRO 64K and eToken NG-OTP tokens (CardOS 4.20 based devices).
• New editable comments section added to WSO profiles.
• Enhanced capabilities for limiting user accessibility to key profile data stored on the eToken.
• Enhanced help file including a Quick Start Guide for first usage, built into the WSO client installation.

eToken 32 Bit SDK Generally Available
The new version of the eToken SDK has been designed to improve the development environment and usability of eToken applications.
Based upon PKCS#11 API, it:

• Provides high-level Supplementary API for additional functionality
• Provides eToken Explorer tool for viewing, editing, creation and removal of PKCS#11 objects on the token

• Includes many new samples for C++, .NET, Java, and more

eToken TMS Check Point Internal CA Connector 1.0. GA Released
This release of the TMS Check Point Internal CA Connector now significantly increases the level of integration between the eToken and Check Point product offering. With it, users get a unique solution, enabling the use of Aladdin TMS as a single, integrated system for deployment and lifecycle management for Check Point internal CA certificates, users and tokens.

Q: What does the eToken TMS Check Point Internal CA Connector do?

A: The TMS Check Point Internal CA Connector creates certificates for users using Check Point's internal CA, and enrolls the certificates automatically to the eToken. The connector can also add new users to the Check Point SmartCenter / Management Server.

Key features:

• Automatic creation of certificates in the Check Point internal CA and enrollment of the created certificates on the eToken
• Automatic creation of users in the Check Point Management Server
• Full lifecycle management of user tokens, certificates and keys with the TMS
• Support for automatic user self-service enrollment through the Web (TMS Web enrollment)

Q: Which emails are listed in the spam report?

A: The spam report lists emails currently in the spam quarantine (the default setting is to keep spam 14 days back) which were not reported yet.


Q: Will a user that was added to the SPAM report recipients get a retroactive report?

A: No, because when spam is detected, eSafe checks whether it should send a report for it and if so, which users should receive this report. If a user is added to the list after the spam email was detected, eSafe will not be able to send it a report.


Q: Can the eConsole be started on all Windows user profiles?

A: The eConsole can be started not only on the profile it was installed on, but on any profile with administrator rights. This is because the eConsole reads and writes from/to the Windows directory and the registry.
